lost and found

Let me tell you a little about this place and why it matters to me. 
It's now over a year ago that I went here with someone I would have called ne of my best friends at that time. Not even a month later this friendship ended in a huge unnecessary fight, but it showed me she never cared about me at all and later I even had to realized she used to lie straight to me face. Of course I'm long over that and don't miss her anymore but I have to admit I do miss having a friend who's also interested in art and photography though

On a lighter note, this forest near the small village I grew up in was and is a one of my favorite places (you can see a ridiculous amount of photos taken there in my gallery). honestly nothing more peaceful than a walk in this forest

Also, can I just quickly rant a little about taking self-portraits? because I hate it. I generally already don't really like using tripods because it makes you so immobile but especially with self-portraits you can't be spontaneous at all and it takes sooo long! particularly if you are me feeling very uncomfortable in front of the camera, having no camera remote and your camera would only take one self-timed photo at a time. A lot of walking back and forth...
