taken from the cupola of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy.
the way up is long and exhausting (and also a bit claustrophobic

) but the view on Rome is worth it

unfortunately, we used the only cloudy day of our whole time in Rome to get up there... otherwise you could also see some mountains in the background...

btw: that day it was feast of saints peter and paul and I guess that's why those posters are hanging there...

That's a great shot! It seems like a cloudy day would be a bad thing. But in my opinion since you can't see the mountains it makes the whole place seem much bigger. ^^
